THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BUFFALO HAS ISSUED AN

* URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY FOR MINOR FLOODING OF POOR
DRAINAGE AREAS IN...
ERIE COUNTY IN WESTERN NEW YORK...
THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF...WEST SENECA...CHEEKTOWAGA...BUFFALO...

* UNTIL 530 PM EDT

* AT 229 PM EDT AROUND AN INCH OF RAIN HAS FALLEN ACROSS PORTIONS
OF METRO BUFFALO INCLUDING DOWNTOWN BUFFALO AND THE WEST SENECA AREA.
THIS HAS RESULTED IN PONDING OF WATER ON SOME AREA ROADWAYS. ADDITIONAL
RAINFALL IS EXPECTED OVER THE NEXT HOUR WHICH MAY RESULT IN
LOCALIZED FLOODING OF URBAN AREAS.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS UP TO A THIRD OF INCH ARE POSSIBLE IN
THE WARNED AREA.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
