Havre, Mont. - U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the Havre Sector arrested 10 illegal aliens Tuesday based on a citizens tip.
Agents from the Plentywood Station received information from a concerned citizen regarding suspicious activity in a local parking lot. Agents responded to the area and encountered a group of 10 individuals in the parking lot. The agents determined all 10 individuals to be citizens of Mexico, with no immigration documents to remain in the country legally.
Havre Sector Chief Patrol Agent Brenna Neinast said of the apprehension, “the arrest of these 10 illegal aliens highlights the importance of the partnerships the Border Patrol has developed with local residents, landowners, and other state and local law enforcement agencies.”
All 10 subjects are being held in Department of Homeland Security custody pending the outcome of their deportation proceedings.
