Ramey Station Border Patrol Agents patrolling with the Puerto Rico Police Department's (PRPD) FURA Aircraft reported a possible alien incursion in the coastline of the town of Isabela.
Border Patrol Agents on the ground discovered a 22-foot fiberglass vessel and after an extensive search of the area, the agents found four individuals who claimed to be citizens of the Dominican Republic. The individuals were arrested and subsequently transported to Ramey Border Patrol Station in Aguadilla for processing.
The Fingerprint database revealed that one of the undocumented aliens, Cruzito Linares-Herrera, had been deported on two prior occasions, and had served time for immigration law violations.
Linares-Herrera will have an initial hearing tomorrow before a U.S. District Court Magistrate Judge for charges of re-entering the U.S. after prior removal.
