ARMY

              EADS North American Defense, Arlington, Va., was awarded a $52,509,992 firm-fixed-price contract Dec. 23, 2010.  The award will provide for 12 UH-72A Light Utility Helicopters, 12 Airborne Radio Communication systems and two Engine Inlet Barrier Filters.  Work will be performed in Columbus, Miss., with an estimated completion date of April 30, 2012.  One bid was solicited with one bid received.  The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Contracting Center, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W58RGZ-06-C-0194).

 NAVY
              Lockheed Martin Mission Systems and Sensors, Moorestown, N.J., was awarded a $18,708,099 modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-03-C-5115) for management and engineering services to maintain and modify as necessary the design of DDG 51 class combat system compartments and topside arrangements, in support of the Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems.  The required services for DDG 51 class ships and CG 47 class ships include program management and operation support, quality assurance, configuration management, ship design integration, fleet lifecycle engineering support, installation support, firmware maintenance, combat system test and evaluation, Navy furnished material support, special studies, and future-ship integration studies.  Work will be performed in Moorestown, N.J. (37 percent), Bath, Maine (25 percent), Pascagoula, Miss. (22 percent), San Diego, Calif. (six percent), Washington, D.C. (five percent), Norfolk, Va. (three percent), Port Hueneme, Calif. (one percent), Syracuse, N.Y. (one percent), and is expected to be completed by September 2011.  Funding is provided by fiscal 2004 shipbuilding and conversion, Navy funds.  Contract funds in the amount of $18,708,099 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington Navy Yard, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
