Military Contracts Awarded

CONTRACTS
NAVY
            Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., Bethpage, N.Y., is being awarded a $781,500,000 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-10-C-0044) for the manufacture and delivery of five low rate initial production Lot 4 E-2D Advanced Hawkeye aircraft.  Work will be performed in Syracuse, N.Y. (25.36 percent); Bethpage, N.Y. (25.10 percent); St. Augustine, Fla. (19.3 percent); El Segundo, Calif. (5.34 percent); Indianapolis, Ind. (4.84 percent); Menlo Park, Calif. (4.64 percent); Rolling Meadows, Ill. (2.50 percent); and various locations within the United States (12.92 percent).  Work is expected to be completed by May 2015.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
            BAE Systems Tactical Vehicle, L.P., Sealy, Texas, is being awarded $118,382,589 for firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity delivery order 0009 modification under a previously awarded contract (M67854-07-D-5030) for the procurement of 371 Caiman multi-theater vehicle rolling chassis with overpack kits and Caiman underbody survivability kits.  Work will be performed in Sealy, Texas, and is expected to be completed by December 2012.  Contract funds in the amount of $118,382,589 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, Va., is the contracting activity.
            Navistar Defense, L.L.C., Warrenville, Ill., is being awarded $109,501,008 for firm-fixed-priced delivery order 0020 under a previously awarded contract (M67854-07-D-5032) for the procurement of 650 DXM Plus kits in support of the MaxxPro Plus Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles.  Work will be performed at the MRAP Sustainment Facility in Kuwait, and is expected to be completed by the end of October 2012.  Contract funds in the amount of $109,501,008 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, Va., is the contracting activity.
            BAE Systems Tactical Vehicle, L.P., Sealy, Texas, is being awarded $23,680,264 for firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity delivery order 0012 under a previously awarded contract (M67854-07-D-5030) for continental United States integration and repair of Caiman Mine Resistant Ambush Protected multi-theater vehicles.  Work will be performed in Sealy, Texas, and is expected to be completed by December 2012.  Contract funds in the amount of $23,680,264 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, Va., is the contracting activity.
            BAE Systems Tactical Vehicle, L.P., Sealy, Texas, is being awarded $6,605,018 for  firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity delivery order 0010  modification under previously awarded contract (M67854-07-D-5030) for the procurement of engineering changes to the Caiman Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) multi-theater vehicle.  Work will be performed in Sealy, Texas, and is expected to be completed by January 2013.  Contract funds in the amount of $6,605,018 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, Va., is the contracting activity.
DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
            Hyster Co., Greenville, N.C., was awarded a fixed-price with economic price adjustment contract with a maximum $633,000,000 for procurement of commercial type material handling equipment which includes forklifts, man lifts, platform lifts, scissor lifts, telescopic boom lifts, articulating boom lifts, reach stackers, container handlers, tow tractors and warehouse tractors.  Other locations of performance are Kentucky, Italy, and the Netherlands.  Using services are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies.  There were 26 solicitations with 26 responses.  Type of appropriation is fiscal 2012 through fiscal 2017 Defense Working Capital Funds.  The date of performance completion is Jan. 23, 2017.  The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPM8EC-12-D-0001).
ARMY
            L-3 Communications Corp., Systems Field Support, Madison, Miss., was awarded a $69,277,000 firm-fixed-price contract.  The award will provide for the services in support of the worldwide fleet of C12/RC12/UC35 aircraft.  Work will be performed in Madison, Miss., with an estimated completion date of Jan. 31, 2013.  One bid was solicited, with one bid received.  The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W58RGZ-10-C-0107).
            Propper International, Mayaguez, Puerto Rico (W911QY-12-D-0006), and Tennessee Apparel Corp, Tullahoma, Tenn. (W911QY-12-D-0007), were awarded a $45,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract.  The award will provide for the procurement of 1,670 fuel handler coveralls from each contractor.  Work location will be determined with each task order, with an estimated completion date of Jan. 16, 2017.  The bid was solicited through the Internet, with three bids received.  The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Natick, Mass., is the contracting activity.
            Northrop Grumman Systems Administration, Cincinnati, Ohio, was awarded a $20,000,000 firm-fixed-price and cost-plus-fixed-fee contract.  The award will provide for the services in support of the unattended ground sensor systems.  Work will be performed in Cincinnati, Ohio, with an estimated completion date of Jan. 13, 2017.  Seven bids were solicited, with four bids received.  The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Adelphi, Md., is the contracting activity (W911QX-12-D-0001).
            CDM Federal Programs Corp., Gulfport, Miss., was awarded a $10,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract.  The award will provide for the environmental support services to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District.  Work will be performed in Mobile, Ala., with an estimated completion date of Jan. 12, 2017.  The bid was solicited through the Internet, with 14 bids received.  The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile, Ala., is the contracting activity (W91278-12-D-0010).
            PDC Engineering, Inc., Anchorage, Alaska, was awarded a $7,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract.  The award will provide for the mechanical and electrical design services.  Work will be performed in various locations in Alaska, with an estimated completion date of Jan. 4, 2017.  The bid was solicited through the Internet, with five bids received.  The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jber, Alaska, is the contracting activity (W911KB-12-D-0005).
            Dutra Dredging Co., San Rafael, Calif., was awarded a $6,888,755 firm-fixed-price contract.  The award will provide for the dredging services in areas around Plaquemines Parish, La.  Work will be performed in Plaquemines Parish, La., with an estimated completion date of Feb. 28, 2012.  The bid was solicited through the Internet, with one bid received.  The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans, La., is the contracting activity (W912P8-12-C-0008).
